Diane Carol Lokken

SHELTON, WA–Diane Carol Lokken, at age 73, passed away in her home in Shelton, WA on September 28, 2023 after a long battle with Multiple System Atrophy.

Diane was born December 19, 1949 in Canby MN to Melvin and Hazel Rose Lokken. Diane grew up on a small farm about 10 miles South of Canby MN. She attended Marble country school and graduated from Canby High School in 1967. After high school Diane attended Moorehead State College and also Canby Vocational School. She lived the majority of her adult life in Minneapolis, MN where she worked various jobs as an office manager. Diane’s interests included sports (playing softball) and horses, where she competed in both Western horseback riding in her youth and later English riding and judging dressage competitions. In December 2018 Diane moved to Shelton Washington where she lived until her passing. Diane is survived by her brother Stan Lokken (wife Mary) of Hayward WI, sister Marcia Jacobson (husband Michael) of Shelton WA, nieces Michelle Craig (husband Lance and their children Rylee and Carson) and Miranda Rychlinski (husband Jon and their daughter Kennedy) both from Bonney Lake WA. Diane was preceded in death by her mother and father.

A memorial will be held at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Canby MN in the Fireside Room on Friday, July 12th 2024 at 12:00 noon. If you wish to share condolences or memories, please send them to:
