NEW HOPE–Steven “Steve” Alan Kohler, 62, of New Hope, MN, passed away on April 29, 2024. The team at Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven Funeral Chapel and Memorial Gardens at 5125 West Broadway in Crystal, MN, is assisting with the arrangements for Steve’s celebration of life service on Tuesday, May 14, with visitation at 10:00 AM and service at 11:00 AM. In his 18-year tenure with the National Guard (honorably discharged) Steve demonstrated commitment and loyalty in serving his country. Burial will be at Fort Snelling at a later date. Steve is survived by his daughters Ashley, Berekit; and his partner Fathya Abdullah. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents Leo and Alice Kohler, and brother Jeffrey.
