BALATON–The funeral service for Janet Scherbart, 78, of Marshall, formerly of Balaton, will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Skandia Evangelical Free Church in Balaton.  Visitation will be Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Balaton.  Visitation will continue on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Skandia Evangelical Free Church.  Interment will follow the service at the church cemetery in Balaton.  A recording of the service will be available at www.horvathfuneralservice.com.
