BALATON — Services for Janet Scherbart, 78, of Marshall, formerly of Balaton, will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday at Skandia Evangelical Free Church in Balaton.  Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Balaton.  Visitation will continue Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at Skandia Evangelical Free Church. Burial will follow the service at the church cemetery in Balaton.  A recording of the service will be available at www.horvathfuneralservice.com.
