Mildred Strand

LAKE WILSON –Services for Mildred Delores Strand, 96, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 27, at St. Mary’s Church in Lake Wilson Burial is at Hillside Cemetery in Lake Wilson. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday, April 27. Totzke Funeral Home of Slayton is entrusted with arrangements.

She died Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Summerwood Assisted Living of Chanhassen.

She was born July 9, 1927, in Pipestone, to Harold and Josephine Goeppel Hansen.

Survivors include her three daughters, Mary Nelson of Cable, Wisconsin, Joan Akerlind of Eden Prairie, and Jane Monson of Crosslake; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Virginia “Pat” Demuth of Hills.
