James Lange

SLAYTON — Visitation for James “Jim” Henry Lange, 87, will be from 2-4 p.m. Monday at the Hadley Community Center in Hadley. Totzke Funeral Home of Slayton is entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial may be directed to Murray County Hospice.

He died Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the Murray County Hospital in Slayton.

He was born Aug.18, 1936, on a farm near Hadley, to Henry and Verna Lundeen Lange.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce of Slayton; four children, Cindi Horn of Windsor, Colorado, Alan of Pipestone, Robin of Currie, Shelli Petersen of Slayton; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two siblings, Dale of Slayton, and Janice Sellman of Montevideo.
