Catherine Hemenway

SLAYTON — Services for Cathy Ann Hemenway, 73, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Columba Church in Iona. Burial is St. Ann’s Cemetery in Slayton. Visitation will be one prior to the services at the church on Tuesday. Totzke Funeral Home of Slayton is entrusted with arrangements.

She died Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.

She was born Feb. 23, 1951, Wessington Springs, South Dakota, to Clell and Irene Roth Kirton.

Survivors include her two children, Melinda Bose and David Hemenway; three stepchildren, Lester and Kenny Hemenway, and Phyllis Woldt; four grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and special friend, Lawrence Roeder.
