Anthony Dickey

LUCAN — Services for Anthony “Butch” Mark Dickey, 63, of Lucan will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery – Redwood Falls. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers. Stephens Funeral Service -Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He died unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024, at Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center.

Hewas born July 11, 1960, to Raymond N. and Margaret R. (Dewberry) Dickey in Worthington. In October 1977, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. At Ft. Bragg (now Liberty), he completed jump school as part of the 82nd Airborne Division. He was also stationed at Redstone Arsenal by Huntsville, Alabama, and later received his honorable discharge in October 1980.

Survivors include his children, Taniyah of Zimmerman, Evan of Mammoth Hot Springs, Wyoming, Courtney of Willmar and Mikal of Alexandria, Virginia; partner, Donna Christensen of Lucan; siblings, Margaret Kraus of West St. Paul, Sandie Konnad Rancho Mirage, California, Audrey Zimmerman of Minneapolis, Mary Roth of Ocheyedan, Iowa, Mike of Elk River and Jim of Worthington.
