ECHO--The funeral service for Gary Van Winkle, Sr., 70, of Echo, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Christ Lutheran Church in Cottonwood. A livestream and recording of the service will be available on the church YouTube channel. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home in Echo, with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at church. Interment at Rock Valle Lutheran Cemetery in rural Echo will follow the funeral luncheon. Gary died on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at his residence in Echo Township.
