Alvina Catherine Beek

LUVERNE–Alvina Beek was born on March 6, 1936, in Luverne, Minnesota to Leopold and Bertha Recker Dollander.  Survivors include her four sons and their spouses, Stephen and Bonita Beek of Lake Wilson, MN, Craig and Laurie Beek of New Prague, MN, Mark and Kris Beek of Lake Wilson, MN, and Brian and Terri Beek of Lake Wilson, MN, 11 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold, son, Randall, and two sisters, and their spouses, Alice and Dick Werkmen and Barb and Wayne Langland.  Funeral Services are at St. Mary’s Church in Lake Wilson, MN on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Peter Schuster officiating.  Interment is at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Worthington, MN.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday.  Totzke Funeral Home of Slayton is entrusted with arrangements.
