Douglas Swift

BALATON — Services for Douglas Raymond Swift, 77, of Balaton will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Garvin Congregational Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church. Burial is in Bethel Cemetery near Garvin. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Stephens Funeral Service – Tracy Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He died Monday, July 31, 2023, at Prairie View Senior Living in Tracy.

He was born April 5, 1946, in Tracy, to Verna Pearl (Engesser) and Raymond Douglas Swift. He enlisted in the Army National Guard and served for eight years from 1964-1972.

Survivors include his wife, Bev; daughters, Lesa Thompson and Mindy Rehbein; three grandchildren; stepchildren, Kimberly Guza, John Sullivan, Katrina Sullivan, Dan Sullivan, Matthew Sullivan; 13 step- grandchildren; siblings, Sandy Wiseman, and Jeff.
