Ivan Hiepler

MINNEOTA — Services for Ivan Hiepler, 80, of Minneota, and formerly of Madison, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Madison.  The concluding service and burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Madison.

He died March 23, 2023.

Ivan Clarence Hiepler was born Jan. 24, 1943, to parents Clarence and Hildegard (Rakow) Hiepler in Appleton. He was baptized on February 14, 1943, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Madison. Ivan attended school in Madison. He was united in marriage to Linda Maxa in 1967 and in 1986 to Ellie Morin. He enjoyed his work for many years trucking for Arfsten, Moberg’s and Schwan’s. 

In life, Ivan enjoyed being with his family and friends, fishing, horses, music, collecting toy cars and semis.

Ivan is survived by his children Cheri Lee Hiepler of Paynesville, Jeffrey (Trina) Hiepler of Marshall, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brothers Jim (Karen) Hiepler of Severn, Maryland and Dale Hiepler of Madison, nieces and nephews and many cousins and friends.
