Howard Erickson
WESTBROOK — A memorial Services for Howard Leland Erickson, 96, of Westbrook, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Westbrook. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Westbrook Funeral Home. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at church on Friday. Interment will be in the Westbrook Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Westbrook Library or Trinity Lutheran Church.
He died Friday, Jan. 13, 2023.
He was was born on May 31, 1926 to Orel and Margaret (Fowler) Erickson. He graduated from high school and then served in the United States Army during WWII in the Philippines and Japan.
Survived include his wife Geraldine; children, Elizabeth Olson, Patricia Cuka, Lynn Karnavas, Thomas Erickson and Jacqueline Johns; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and brother Kenneth Erickson.
He is preceded in death by his parents Orel and Margaret Erickson, and his brothers Curtis and Richard,
