CURRIE — Services for JoEllyn Marcelline Ruppert, 86, of Currie, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at IHM Church in Currie. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday.

She died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022, at Our Hospice Home in Slayton.

She was born on Feb. 14, 1936, in Slayton to Aloysius and Elsie Bremer Illg.

Survivors include her five children, Rhonda Meulebroeck, of Balaton, Mel Jr. Ruppert of Mankato, Kerry Ruppert of Currie, Jolleen Ruppert of Garretson, SD, and Brett Ruppert of Worthington; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Elaine Gaul of Fulda.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Melvin, two sisters, JoAnn Wisdorf and Janice Pippett; and one brother, Al Illg Jr.

Totzke Funeral Home of Slayton is entrusted with arrangements.
