MARSHALL — Services for Lois Brooks, 86, of Sioux Falls, formerly of Marshall, will take place at 1 p.m. Friday at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Marshall. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, from noon-1 p.m., at the remembrance center. Burial will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Slayton.
She died Monday, July 19, 2021, at the Bethany Nursing Home in Sioux Falls, S.D.
She was born on May 16, 1935, in Holly Township, Murray County, to Claude and Mabel (Muck) Orvis.
Survivors include her sons, Thomas of Marshall and Jeffrey of Sioux Falls; six grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Kay Worden of Sioux Falls.
