Alvin Kleven

WALNUT GROVE — Services for Alvin Kleven, 97, of Walnut Grove will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Westbrook, with visitation one hour prior to the service. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Arrangements are with Horvath Funeral Service of Tracy

He died Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Our House of Murray County in Slayton

He was born Jan. 12, 1924, on the family farm in Ann Township, to Albert and Emma (Knudson) Kleven.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Walnut Grove; daughter, Lynette Smith of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; sons, Doug of Parker, Colorado, Bruce of Sacred Heart, and Craig of Walnut Grove; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
