Ruth Fischer

TYLER — Services for Ruth E. Fischer, 95, formerly of Tyler, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at the Tyler Alliance Church. Private burial will be at a later date.

She died Feb. 9, 2020, at Morningside Heights Care Center in Marshall.

She was born May 6, 1924, in Tyler to Carl and Clara Jensen.

Ruth was united in marriage to Henry Fischer on Nov. 24, 1944.

Survivors include by her six children: Don (Marian), Carol, Lucille (Donald), Susan (William), Roger (Karen) and Shirley (Dan); 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren .

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, her parents, three sisters and one son-in-law.
