Adolph Monsrud

REDWOOD FALLS — No services for Adolph “Bud” Monsrud, 81, of Redwood Falls will take place per his wishes. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He died suddenly Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, at Carris Health Redwood Hospital in Redwood Falls.

He was born Nov. 12, 1938, to Carl and Pearl (Toft) Monsrud in Gonvick. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from December 30, 1955 to July 22, 1959.

Survivors include his children, Dawn Hefflefinger of Portsmonth, Va., and Chad of Redwood Falls; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; siblings, Evelyn Grants of Helena, Mont., Kenny of Stockbridge, Ga., Jerry of Marshall, Parnell of Arkansas, and Merlyn of Lake City, Fla.
