Orville Leo Hennen was born Sept. 24, 1929, in Westerheim Township to Leo and Isabelle (Jennen) Hennen. He grew up on the family farm, and attended St. Eloi Catholic School and Minneota High School. He was united in marriage to Marjorie Versluys on May 19, 1952. The couple milked cows, farmed, and raised five sons on their farm near Ghent until moving to Marshall in 1995. After retiring from the farm, Orville sold insurance and then started Hennen Tours, which he and Marge enjoyed doing together. Orville was an active member of St. Eloi Church and then Holy Redeemer later in life. He was also active as treasurer for the Catholic Order of Foresters for many years.
