SLAYTON — Services for Harriet Joyce Schmidt, 90, of Princeton, formerly of Slayton, are at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Reformed Church in Slayton. Burial is at Woodstock Cemetery in Woodstock. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. with a prayer services at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the First Reformed Church in Slayton. Also visitation one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. She died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019, at Sterling Point Assisted Living in Princeton.

She was born April 12, 1929, in Sheldon, Iowa to Henry and Annetta (Solsma) Kruisselbrink. Survivors include her husband, Henry E. of Princeton; children, Gary of Grasston, Wanda Hourscht of Big Lake, Glenda Schmidt Kimpling of Cambridge, Terry of Katy, Texas, and Kevin of Faribault; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sisters, Evelyn VanNieuwenhuyzen of Pipestone, and Wilma Van Perseum of Marcell.
