Virginia Bertrand

SLAYTON — Services for Virginia “Ginny” Bertrand, 58, of Slayton will be at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Ann’s Church in Slayton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Slayton. Totzke Funeral Home of Slayton is entrusted with arrangements.

She died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019, at her home.

She was born Sept. 27, 1960, in Worthington, to Stanley and Doris Galles Diekmann.

Survivors include her husband, Bruce of Slayton; daughter, Andrea Bertrand of Slayton, one grandson; mother, Doris Diekmann of Lismore; and nine siblings, Dale Diekmann of Fort Meyers, Florida, Jeff Diekmann of Lismore, Lee Diekmann of New Port Richey, Florida, Brad Diekmann of Chanhassen, Tom Diekmann of Lismore, Marcie Cowan of Iona, Sharon Rupp of Granite Falls, Gene Diekmann of Savage, and Layne Nelson of Stanley, N.D.
