MARSHALL — Services for Bernice Christopherson, 97, of Waseca, formerly of Marshall, will take place at 10 a.m. Monday at Rehkamp-Horvath Funeral Home in Marshall. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Marshall.

Bernice died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019, at the Lakeshore Inn Nursing Home in Waseca.

Bernice Violet (Hansen) Christopherson was born Feb. 14, 1922, to William and Caroline (Sandro) Hansen of Tracy. On June 12, 1945, she was united in marriage to Eugene Christopherson of Milroy. The couple lived in Marshall until 2009 when they moved to Waseca. Bernice managed the K & K Department Store in Tracy, worked for the S & L Store in Marshall and also Marshall High School. Upon retirement, she and Eugene loved traveling and visiting family.

She is survived by her son, Conrad (and Jane) Christopherson of Waseca; grandchildren Christy (and Mitch) Lipkin, Cindy (and Tony) Almario, Carolyn (and Jason) Conway, Cathy (and Eric) Roos, Jeff (and Molly) Danzl, and Tim (and fiancée Hannah Horsch) Christopherson; great-grandchildren Josh, Jon, Michaela, Nate, Hannah, Daniel, Caleb, Jacob, James, Sandra Marie, Sawyer, Kendra, Mark, Quin and Kole.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene in 2012.
