Donald West

TRACY – Services for Donald “Donnie” West, 86, of Walnut Grove will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walnut Grove. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the Walnut Grove Funeral Home, and will continue one hour prior to the service at church on Monday. Burial is in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, rural Walnut Grove. Stephens Funeral Service – Walnut Grove Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He died Tuesday, July 9, 2019, while surrounded by his family, at Sanford Tracy Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 25, 1932, in Tracy, to Fred and Anna (Bengston) West. He enlisted in the US Army in 1955 and served until 1957 when he received his honorable discharge.

Survivors include his wife, Millie; son, Steve of Walnut Grove; daughter, Doreen Osland of Walnut Grove; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
