Cecelia Gag

Oct. 19, 1918-May 5, 2018

OAK PARK HEIGHTS — A mass and private celebration of life for Cecelia Helen (nee Morisette) Gag, formerly of Marshall, will be at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Stillwater. Burial is at Calvary Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are preferred to the Foundation Fighting Blindness or the Lakeview Hospice. She died May 5, 2018, at The Gables at Boutwell in Oak Park Heights, Minnesota.

Cecelia was born Oct. 19, 1918, in Marshall the youngest of nine children of Alexander and Josephine Morisette. She graduated from Marshall High School. After working in Minneapolis for a few years, Cecelia and Willard J. Gag were united in marriage at Incarnation Catholic Church in Minneapolis on Feb. 18, 1946. They lived their entire married life in Marshall. Cecelia was a very active and giving volunteer to her church, Al-Anon, the Weiner Memorial Hospital and many other community organizations.

Survivors include her sons, Thomas (Rose) of Stillwater and Steven (Laura) of Roslindale, Massachusetts; grandchildren, Robert (Amy) of Stillwater, Andrew (Kelly) of Detroit Lakes, Emily of Roslindale, Massachusetts and Louisa of Brighton, Massachusetts; great-grandchildren, Victor, Nicholas, Lydia, Ella, Sofia and Olivia; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Willard and her eight siblings.
