Bradley Baker

WALNUT GROVE — A Celebration of Life for Bradley D. Baker, 61, of Hastings will be from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, May 12 at the United Methodist Church, 451 8th Street, Walnut Grove. Burial will be at Fort Snelling at a later date.

He passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Regina Health Care in Hastings.

Brad graduated from Walnut Grove and joined the Navy in 1975. After his service, he graduated from Spartan School of Aeronautics, Tulsa, OK. He was employed with Mesaba Airlines, Worthington Aviation, Goodyear, Airworthy Aerospace, and Cummins.

He was an avid toy-tractor collector with a very impressive collection. He enjoyed visits with his family and friends, gardening, treks with his brother Collin, and especially spending time with his grand kids. Brad was able to travel the world, with some of his favorite places being Greenland, Scotland, and Iceland.

Brad is survived by his parents, Donn and Cleo Baker of Walnut Grove; siblings, Cynthia (Rick) Wegner of Courtland, Collin Baker of Hastings, Paul (Kim) Baker of LaConner, WA; many nieces and nephews; step-son, Kevin (Ashley) Kraus and grandchildren, Haley, Jackson, and Meela of Burnsville.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Peggy; and in-laws, Kathy and Dennis Anderson.
