Hope Gegner

REDWOOD FALLS — Services for Hope Betty Gegner, 87, of Redwood Falls and formerly of Morgan will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bethany Lutheran Church, Gilfillan, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. The family requests memorials be directed to the Bethany Cemetery Fund. Arrangements are with Nelson-Hillestad Funeral and Cremation Service of Morgan.

She died Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, at Sunwood Good Samaritan Care Center in Redwood Falls.

She was born Dec. 4, 1929, to Sophus P. and Olena (Christiansen) Hansen, in the Redwood Falls Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, Harold; children, Lance of Belview, Christine Schwandt of Morton, and Dan of Redwood Falls; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
