David Newberg

TRACY – Services for David Allen Newberg, 66, of Tracy will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Tracy Area Funeral Home. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with a prayer service at 7:45 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial is in North Hero Township Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service – Tracy Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at Murray County Hospice in Slayton.

He was born Sept. 21, 1946, in Tracy, to Arthur and Angela (Walsh) Newberg Sr. He served in the military for 21 years, first with the U.S. Air Force, serving in Vietnam and later with the U.S. Army from where he retired.

Survivors include his wife, Armestina; son, Kevin Bierbaum of Sioux Falls, S.D.; sister, Pat Smith of Massillon, Ohio; nephews and nieces.
