n The MCS summer brochure will be released on Wednesday, May 1.

n Healthy and Green Living Expo will be from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at the Red Baron Arena & Expo. This year’s Expo will feature Farm Girl Fresh! co-owners, Joyce Kaping and Colleen Anderson, who will have an interactive demonstration that goes from growing, to preserving, to preparing healthy and whole food meals. They will also have their new book and other healthy eating merchandise available for sale.

n Outdoor soccer skills camp will be at Freedom Park. Boys and girls in kindergarten and 1st grade have the option of attending from 4-4:30 p.m. or 4:30-5 p.m. Mondays from April 29-May 20 for $25 per person. Boys and girls in grades 2-3 have the option of attending from 4-4:45 p.m. or 5-5:45 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays from April 30-May 16 for $35 per person.

n Cooking Up Science (for grades 3-5) will be from 3:30-5 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at Marshall Middle School Explore basic biology, chemistry and physics using common items from the kitchen. Fee: $8 per person.

n Culture Conference will be from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at the Marshall Middle School. The conference will highlight four cultures from the Marshall community and surrounding areas Topics include: history, language and celebrations. Fee: $5 per person (includes meal from El Rancho).

n Spring golf lessons will be May 13 through May 17 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) at the Marshall Golf Course driving range. SMSU golf coach Ross Webskowski and SMSU players will give instruction on grip, stance, posture, chipping, putting, etiquette and rules. Youth lessons (ages 7-17) will be at 4 p.m. or 5 p.m. Adult lessons will be at 6 p.m. Fee: $30 per person.
