The Board of Education of Independent School District #413, Marshall Public Schools met for their regular meeting in the District Administration Office on Monday, March 20, 2017. Chairman Chapman called the meeting to order and the roll call showed all members present.
Presentations: a presentation regarding Technology use in Marshall Public Schools was shared by teachers.
Board action was taken on approving: the consent agenda, board
minutes, grants/donations, personnel, field trip requests, policies, 2017-2018 school calendar, appointment of election judges for April 18, 2017 election, special meeting date to canvass election results, 2017-2018 SW/WC membership agreement, final phase of the HVAC project at Marshall middle School, and an agreement with Control Technology & Solutions Group.
Discussion: was held regarding the first reading of policies 530-532 and 540.

The Board of Education of Independent School District #413, Marshall Public Schools met for their work session meeting on Monday, April 3, 2017. Chairman Chapman called the meeting to order and the roll call showed all members present.
Tiger Spotlight: Pride in the Tiger Foundation Executive Director, Allan Vogel, shared words of recognition for Matt Coleman and Bill Swope. Each of whom were recently recognized in the Pride in the Tiger
Foundation Hall of Honor.
Presentations: a presentation regarding Standards Based Learning and Grading was shared.
Board action was taken on approving: the approval of personnel
related requests.
Discussion: an update of the referendum progress and community tours/open house dates was shared. Additionally, an update was given regarding the FY'18 budget.
