ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
MARSHALL MUNICIPAL UTILITIES
MARSHALL, MINNESOTA
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
The Marshall Municipal Utilities Commission of the City of Marshall, Minnesota will receive bids at the office of the General Manager at 113 4th Street South, Marshall, Minnesota until 2:00 p.m. CST on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 for the following:
47′ AERIAL UNIT WITH MATERIAL HANDLING CAPABILITIES
All bids must be accompanied by either a certified check, cashiers check, or bank draft payable to Marshall Municipal Utilities, in the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the total sum of the bid, drawn on a State or National Bank; or by a Bid Bond in an amount of 5 percent (5%) of the total Bid issued by Surety authorized to do business in the State of Minnesota, said bond to be payable to Marshall Municipal Utilities. The check or bond will be retained by Marshall Municipal Utilities as
liquidated damages if the successful bidder refuses or fails to enter into a contract.
Bids shall be prepared on proposal forms as supplied in the Bidding Documents and submitted in a securely sealed wrapper and clearly marked upon the outside indicating the work and/or materials for which the bid is made.
The bids shall be made in accordance with the specifications provided. Any exceptions, omissions, or additions to the specifications shall be clearly noted on the proposal form.
The Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
Specifications are on file at the office of MARSHALL MUNICIPAL UTILITIES. Vendors who desire specifications may secure them from Electrical
Superintendent, Larry Lamote.
Bids will be opened at 2:00 p.m. CST on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at the office of Marshall Municipal Utilities. No bidder may withdraw his bid for at least 90 days after the scheduled closing time for the
receipt of bids.
