NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED
PUBLIC HEALTH ORDINANCES
The Lyon County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on November 1, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., in the Lyon County Law Enforcement Center Basement, 607 West Main Street, Marshall, MN to consider the enactment of the following Public Health Ordinances:
1. Public Health Administrative Ordinance.
Purpose: To set forth the administrative procedure for the issuance,
revocation, suspension, or renewal of permits and licenses issued
by the County as required by County Public Health Ordinance or
State law.
2. Public Health Lodging Establishments Ordinance.
Purpose: To establish standards for all lodging establishments, and
to protect the health, safety, and general welfare of the residents of
Lyon County.
3. Public Health Food and Beverage Ordinance.
Purpose: To establish standards for all food and beverage
establishments, and to protect the health, safety, and general welfare
of the residents of Lyon County.
4. Public Health Manufactured Home Parks and Recreational Camping
Area Ordinance.
Purpose: To establish standards for all Manufactured Home Parks
and Recreational Camping Areas, and to protect the health, safety,
and general welfare of the residents of Lyon County.
5. Public Health Swimming Pool Ordinance.
Purpose: To establish standards for all public swimming pools and
to protect the safety and general welfare of the residents of Lyon
County.
6. Public Health Youth Camp Ordinance.
Purpose: To establish standards for all Youth Camps and to protect
the health, safety, and general welfare of the residents of Lyon
