PUBLIC NOTICE OF FINAL CLOSURE HEARING
Judicial Ditch 31 Lincoln & Lyon
Please Take Notice: The Drainage Authority of Judicial Ditch 31 Lincoln & Lyon (JD 31 LL) Counties, Minnesota, will hold a Final Closure Hearing on the Improvement and Redetermination of Benefits for JD 31 LL Main and Branch 9. The Engineer’s Detailed Final Report of Expenses and the property owner’s assessments for JD 31 LL has been filed and are prepared for review.
The hearing will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lincoln County Courthouse Commissioner’s Room, 2nd Floor, Ivanhoe, Minnesota.
Any party objecting to the acceptance of the contract may appear and be heard.
The drainage project involved improvement of Branch No. 9 of JD 31 LL in Section 36 of Marshfield Township and Section 31 of Coon Creek Township of Lyon County by installing a larger tile system beginning in the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 36 Marshfield Township of Lincoln County and flowing in an Easterly direction for approximately 8,300 ft. to outlet into the open ditch of Judicial Ditch No. 31 in the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 6 of Shelburne Township of Lyon County. And the outlet fee to Lincoln County Ditch # 24, which will use a portion of the existing system as its outlet. Entering the 24″ existing tile on the Township road that divides Lyon and Lincoln Counties and flows to the existing Outlet.

Engineer’s Report, the determination of benefits and damages and the improvement:
Marshfield Township, T 110 N-R 44 W, Sections: 26, 35 and 36; Hope Township, T 109 N-R 44 W, Sections: 1,2,11 and 12 all in Lincoln County and Coon Creek Township, T 110 N-R 43 W, Sections: 30, 31 and 32; Shelburne Township Sections: 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 10 all in Lyon County;
The following owners of property in Lincoln County are affected by the redetermination of benefits and improvement: Harvey Dressen, Paul Enemark, Craig Norgaard, Brian Hansen, Benjamin Dressen, Donald & Lois Lavoie, Gary & Diane Sik, Kelly Dybdahl, Randy Studemann, Lowell Thomsen, Gordon & Mary Jensen, Roger & Beverly Gylling, Clara Persoon, Jason & Barbara Brust, Lester Newell %William Newell, and Norgaard Trust %Northwestern Farm Management.
