PUBLIC NOTICE OF FINAL ACCEPTANCE HEARING

County Ditch 10

Please Take Notice: The Drainage Authority of Lyon County Ditch 10 (CD 10) will hold a Final Acceptance Hearing on the Improvement and Redetermination of Benefits for CD 10. The Engineer’s Detailed Final Report of Expenses and the property owner’s assessments for CD 10 has been filed and are prepared for review.

The hearing will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. in the Joint Law Enforcement Center Training Room, 611 West Main Street, Marshall, MN 56258.

A brief description of the Improvement to CD 10 consists of the following:

Enlarging of the existing main tile approximately in the same location as the existing County Ditch 10 and a wetland restoration in the NW 1/4 of section 27.

Main: All sections are in Coon Creek Township. Starting in the NE 1/4 of Section 26 with the installation of a 24″ reinforced concrete pipe under CSAH #2 connected to a 66″ manhole to work in conjunction with an existing 30″ culvert that is in place under CSAH #2. The manhole will be installed on the south side of CSAH #2. That pipe is connected to a 36″ tile proceeding westerly about 4800′ to the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 26, south of the CSAH #2 R/W. From that point there is a 30″ tile proceeding in a westerly direction beneath 150th Avenue into the NE 1/4 of Section 27, then turning southwest and running for 732′ then turning west and running for 700′. At this point the tile will be

reduced to 24″ and run through the NE 1/4. of the NW 1/4 of Section 27 before the tile will be reduced to 18″ and run under CSAH #2 into the SW 1/4 of Section 22 north of the R/W line for CSAH #2 and head West for 1200′ to the end of the Main tile. In addition, 1200′ east of the

intersection of CSAH #13 and CSAH #2, a 24″ tile will be outlet on CSAH #2 into an existing 24″ centerline culvert. That line will consist of 1500′ of 24″tile that will terminate in the West R/W line 500’north of the intersection of CSAH #13 and CSAH #2. This tile will be receiving water from Sections 21 and 28 in Coon Creek Township and placing water in a CRP wetland in part of the NW 1/4 of Section 27.

The affected properties and landowners are as follows:

* Portions of Section 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28 of Coon Creek Township in Lyon County. Please Take Notice: The Drainage Authority of Lyon County Ditch 13 (CD 13) will hold a Final Acceptance Hearing on the Improvement and Redetermination of Benefits for CD 13. The Engineer’s Detailed Final Report of Expenses and the property owner’s assessments for CD 13 has been filed and are prepared for review.

The hearing will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. in the Joint Law Enforcement Center Training Room, 611 West Main Street, Marshall, MN 56258.

A brief description of the Improvement to CD 13 consists of the following:

Main: Starting point approximately 400 feet east of MN Hwy 91 and 140th Street a tile line traveling south threw the west 1/2 of section 18 Rock Lake Township across US Hwy 14. Into section 19 and traveling in the west 1/2 of section 19 into section 30 to the south part of NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4. Then proceeding west across MN Hwy 91 about 100 feet and turning south in the NE 1/4 of section 25 Shelburne Township heading south threw section 25 and terminating in the NE 1/4 of section 36.

Branch 1: Will outlet into the proposed improved main tile on the west side of MN State Hwy 91 in the SE 1/4 of section 25 and drain land

located in sections 25 and 36 of Shelburne Township.

Branch 2: Will outlet into the proposed improved main tile on the west side of MN State Hwy 91 in the NE 1/4 and the SE 1/4 of section 25 and drain land located in sections 25 and 36 of Shelburne Township.

Branch 5: Beginning at the center of the SW 1/4 of section 18 Rock Lake Township a tile connected to the MAIN that heads SW to the

intersection of MN Hwy 91 & US Hwy 14. Across US Hwy 14 into the NW 1/4 of section 19 that proceeds south about 2000 feet and then crosses MN Hwy 91 into section 24 and terminates at the south end of the NE 1/4 of section 24 Shelburne Township.

The affected properties and landowners are as follows:

Portions of sections 12, 13, 24, 25, 36 of Shelburne Township and of sections 7, 18, 19, 30, 36 of Rock Lake Township in Lyon County.
