ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: City of Marshall will receive sealed Bids for Southwest Minnesota Regional Amateur Sports Center (SMASC) Concessions Building Project, located at 210 Tiger Drive, Marshall, MN 56258, in accordance with the Bidding Documents prepared by Armstrong, Torseth, Skold & Rydeen, Inc., Architects and Engineers, 8501 Golden Valley Road, Suite 300, Minneapolis, MN 55427-4414, and their Consultants.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Project consists of a 1017 square foot Concessions Building with public toilet facilities;
constructed with CMU, wood trusses, metal roof; eight (8) cast-in-place concrete ballfield dugouts with metal roof; and multiple segmented CMU retaining walls.
TYPE OF BIDS: Single lump sum bids will be received for the total scope of the Work.
BID DATE: Bids must be received on or before July 7, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. local time
DELIVERY AND OPENING OF BIDS: Bids shall be delivered to, and will be opened at Council Chambers of the
Municipal Building, located at 344 West Main Street, Marshall, MN 56258. Bids will be publicly opened immediately after closure of bidding period.
BID SECURITY: Bids shall be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Base Bid submitted, made payable to the Owner.

Procurement of Documents By Major Sub-Bidders: Mechanical and Electrical Subcontract Bidders may secure (1) set of Bidding Documents upon receipt of a refundable deposit of $100.00, made payable to Architect.
Procurement of Documents By Sub-Bidders: Sub-Bidders (other than identified Major Sub-Bidders) may purchase full or partial sets of Bidding Documents from Reprographic Source. Cost for purchasing Bidding Documents is non-

TIME OF COMMENCEMENT: Work may commence on July 27, 2016.
TIME OF COMPLETION: Owner requires Substantial Completion of Contract Work on or before September 30, 2016.
BONDING REQUIREMENTS: Contractor will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond.
