LAMBERTON -- A 16-year-old boy was seriously injured in a rollover crash Thursday evening near Lamberton. The Redwood County Sheriff's Office said the single-vehicle crash was reported around 6 p.m. near the intersection of Redwood County Road 15 and Justice Avenue.
A 2001 Ford Ranger driven by a 16-year-old male had entered the south ditch and tipped on its driver's side, the Sheriff's Office said. The driver was trapped inside the vehicle and had serious injuries. Responders extracted the driver from the vehicle, and he was transported to CentraCare Redwood Falls Hospital. He was later flown to North Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
Lamberton Police, Lamberton Ambulance, the Sanborn First Responders, Sanborn Fire Department, Tracy Ambulance, Walnut Grove Police and Walnut Grove Ambulance all responded at the crash scene.
