GARVIN -- A motorcyclist received serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday near Garvin, the Lyon County Sheriff's Office said. A 1995 Yamaha motorcycle driven by a 66-year-old man and a 2024 GMC Sierra driven by a 37-year-old man were involved in the crash, which was reported at 5:04 p.m. at the intersection of 150th Street and Lyon County Road 9.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Sanford Tracy Medical Center by ambulance, and then flown to Sioux Falls, the Sheriff's Office said.
