TAUNTON — A violation of an order for protection reported at 3:44 p.m. Tuesday on the 400 block of Garfield Street is under investigation, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.

BALATON — Check fraud reported at 8:32 a.m. Tuesday on the 400 block of East U.S. Highway 14 is under investigation, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.
