COTTONWOOD — A 20-year-old man was cited for having a dog at large at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.

MARSHALL — A hit and run incident reported at 4:16 p.m. Wednesday on the 100 block of West Main Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — Theft of a cell phone was reported at 1:38 p.m. Wednesday on the 1100 block of Paris Road, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — Vandalism reported at 8:23 a.m. Wednesday on the 1300 block of Birch Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A 19-year-old man was cited for using an electronic device while driving, in a traffic stop at 7:52 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of E Street and Bruce Street, Marshall Police said.

Accidents

MARSHALL — A car struck a deer at 11:05 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of 320th Avenue and Lyon County Road 6, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said. The driver was not injured, the Sheriff’s Office said.

MARSHALL — Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 10:21 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 59 and Minnesota Highway 23, Marshall Police said. A 91-year-old man and an 88-year-old woman were both transported to the hospital by ambulance, Police said. A 34-year-old man was uninjured, Police said.
