WALNUT GROVE — A Walnut Grove resident was transported to the hospital after a truck collided with an all-terrain vehicle in Walnut Grove on Monday afternoon, the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office said.

Around 4:28 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office, Walnut Grove Ambulance and Fire were called to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Bedal Street and Third Street. A Toyota truck driven by Peter Vang of Walnut Grove failed to yield the right of way and crashed into a Polaris ATV driven by Gary Pilaczynski, also of Walnut Grove, the Sheriff’s Office said. The ATV tipped over onto the driver’s side due to the crash, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Pilaczynski was transported to the hospital for a suspected injury, the Sheriff’s Office said.
