CURRIE — A Balaton man was injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday in Murray County, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

Gerald William Janssen, 72, was taken to the Murray County Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said.

The crash was reported at 8:55 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 30 and U.S. Highway 59 in Mason Township. A 2014 Mack semi tractor driven by Janssen was eastbound on Highway 30, and a 2014 Kenworth tractor driven by Ezequeil Velazquez, 29, of Pharr, Texas, was westbound when the vehicles collided, the State Patrol said. Velazquez was uninjured in the crash, the State Patrol reported.

The Murray County Sheriff’s Office, the Currie Fire Department and Murray County Ambulance all responded at the scene.
