Two injured in motorcycle crash
GRANITE FALLS — Two people were injured when a motorcycle struck a deer south of Granite Falls Monday night. A passenger on the motorcycle was flown to St. Cloud with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol reported.
The collision was reported at 8:39 p.m. on Minnesota Highway 67 south of 254th Avenue in Yellow Medicine County. A 2008 Harley Davidson driven by Raymond Neal Cox, 71, of Redwood Falls, was southbound on Highway 67 when it hit a deer.
Raymond Cox was taken to Avera Granite Falls with non life-threatening injuries. His passenger, Stephanie Kay Cox, 46, was flown to CentraCare St. Cloud with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said.
Neither person was wearing a helmet, the State Patrol reported.
Granite Falls Fire and Ambulance, Granite Falls Police and the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office all responded at the crash scene.
