COTTONWOOD — A 28-year-old man was cited for not having proof of insurance in a traffic stop at 6:38 a.m. Monday at the intersection of 270th Avenue and Lyon County Road 24, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.

BALATON — Theft reported at 8:36 p.m Sunday on the 100 block of South Lake Avenue is under investigation, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.

MARSHALL — A 52-year-old man was cited for not having a valid Minnesota driver’s license in a traffic stop at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 19 and Lyon County Road 9, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.
