IVANHOE — Two people were injured in a crash involving a tractor on U.S. Highway 75 Wednesday evening, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

Russell residents Sherlyn Jean Brown, 66, and Cynthia Lou Hook, 63, were taken to the Hendricks hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The crash was reported at 6:03 p.m. in Royal Township, Lincoln County. A 2014 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Brown and a 1993 Case tractor driven by John Alan Lacek, 54, of Ivanhoe, were both northbound on Highway 75 when the vehicles collided, the State Patrol said.

Brown and Hook, who was a passenger in the Chevrolet, were both transported to the Hendricks hospital, the State Patrol said. Lacek was uninjured.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and Ivanhoe Fire and Ambulance also responded at the crash scene.
