PIPESTONE — A Marshall woman was injured in a collision with a truck and trailer Monday afternoon near Pipestone. Laura Marie Meulebroeck, 18, was taken to the Pipestone hospital with non life-threatening injuries, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

The crash was reported at 2:52 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 75 and 111th Street. At the time of the crash, a 2008 International tractor truck and trailer driven by Craig Jerroll Swenson, 65, of Hancock, was northbound on Highway 75 and a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Meulebroeck was eastbound on 111th Street, the State Patrol said. The two vehicles collided in the intersection.

The Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office, Pipestone Medical and Fire Department, and the Minnesota Department of Transportation all responded at the crash scene.
