COTTONWOOD — A Willmar man, 34, was cited for speeding at 8:53 p.m. Wednesday on Minnesota Highway 23, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.

BALATON — A Slayton woman, 60, was cited for speeding at 7:07 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of 170th Street and Lyon County Road 7, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.

MARSHALL — A Worthington man, 20, was cited for speeding at 6:48 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of 310th Avenue and Lyon County Road 6, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.

MARSHALL — A report was sent to the county attorney’s office for consideration of domestic assault charges against a 62-year-old Columbus man in connection with an incident at 9:01 a.m. Wednesday on the 700 block of East Main Street, Marshall Police said.
