One injured in three-vehicle crash on Hwy. 19

VESTA — An Iowa man was injured in a crash involving a semi truck Sunday on Minnesota Highway 19 in Redwood County. The crash was reported at 5:37 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 19 and Redwood County Road 5, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

A 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Dalton Michael Sprau, 23, of Onslow, Iowa, was traveling northbound on County Road 5 at the time of the crash, while a 2013 semi driven by Lisa Marie Buhrow, 57, of Juneau, Wisconsin, was traveling on Highway 19. The two vehicles collided, the State Patrol said. Then, a 2019 Chevy Colorado driven by Lyle Allen Snyder, 47, of Marshall, struck debris from the crash.

Sprau was taken to Avera Marshall Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said.

The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Vesta Fire and Ambulance, and North Memorial Ambulance all responded at the crash scene.
