MARSHALL — A Willmar man, 27, was arrested for DWI and not having a valid driver’s license at 2:29 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of West Main Street and East College Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A Marshall man, 18, was cited for not having a valid Minnesota driver’s license and not having proof of insurance, in a traffic incident at 1:44 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of North Whitney Street and East College Drive, Marshall Police said.

Accidents

LYON COUNTY — A Granite Falls woman was injured in a collision with a deer Sunday night on Minnesota Highway 23, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

The crash was reported at 9:45 p.m. Sunday on Highway 23 in Vallers Township, the State Patrol said. A 2016 Kia Optima driven by Tianna Marie Wright, 18, was northbound on HIghway 23 when it struck a deer. Wright was taken to Avera Granite Falls hospital with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office and Cottonwood Ambulance responded at the crash scene.

MARSHALL — A property damage accident reported at 8:15 a.m. Friday at the intersection of South Saratoga Street and Minnesota Highway 23 is under investigation, Marshall Police said.
