Two injured in Redwood County crash

BELVIEW — Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Minnesota Highway 19 on Tuesday evening, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

An Echo woman was taken to the Redwood Falls hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The crash was reported at 6:21 p.m. at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 19 and Redwood County Road 7, the State Patrol said. A 2017 Ford Edge driven by Howard Roy Mansfield, 60, of Kerkhoven, was northbound on County Road 7 when it collided with a 2008 Ford Edge that was westbound on Highway 19, the State Patrol said.

The driver of the westbound Ford, 47-year-old Sara Beth Weiss-Dunphy, of Echo, was transported to the hospital with injuries. Mansfield also received non life-threatening injuries, but was not transported to a hospital, the State Patrol said.

The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Belview Fire and Ambulance, and Centracare Ambulance all responded at the crash scene.
