One injured in tractor collision

HENDRICKS — A South Dakota man was injured in a collision involving a grain hauler and a tractor in Lincoln County, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

The collision was reported at 9 a.m. Wednesday. A grain hauler was southbound on Highway 271, and an International Lowboy was westbound on 300th Street attempting to turn onto Highway 271 at the time of the crash, the State Patrol said. The vehicles collided in the intersection. Road conditions were snowy or icy at the time of the crash, the State Patrol said.

The driver of one of the tractors, Marno Jacques Odendahl, 26, of Toronto, S.D., was taken to Hendricks Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and Hendricks Fire and Ambulance all responded at the crash scene.
