One injured in Hwy 59 rollover
LYON COUNTY — A Walnut Grove man was injured in a one-vehicle rollover crash Wednesday morning on U.S. Highway 59, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
The crash was reported at 7:55 a.m. in Sodus Township, Lyon County. A 2000 GMC Sierra driven by Anthony Charles Gielczyk, 34, was northbound on Highway 59 when the vehicle went into the ditch and rolled, the State Patrol said. Road conditions were snowy or icy at the time of the crash, the State Patrol said.
Gielczyk was taken to Sanford Tracy Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office and Tracy Ambulance both responded at the crash scene.
